Elevate Justice U.S. Immigration Law
Elevate Justice is an immigration law firm specializing in I-9 and E-Verify compliance: internal audit support, ICE worksite enforcement defense, and M&A I-9 due diligence. Founder-led, with federal litigation experience at ICE and DOL.
Founder Emily C. Brown, Esq. has nearly a decade of experience in immigration law, starting in private practice representing employers in business immigration and defending companies against ICE in I-9 compliance audits. From there, she moved into federal government service — first as a federal litigator at ICE, then at the Department of Labor, where she litigated federal district court challenges to agency regulations and specialized in visa program integrity audits, including appellate litigation of final agency determinations. That work gave her firsthand insight into how the government builds and defends its own immigration compliance cases.
She brought that full arc back to private practice when she founded Elevate Justice: employer-side audit defense experience, sharpened by direct federal litigation experience, now applied to I-9 compliance programs built to withstand real scrutiny. Her work spans industries and company sizes nationwide, with particular attention to safeguarding sensitive employee data throughout the audit and review process.
As founder, she works directly with every client myself — no mid-level staffing, no markup layers — giving corporate and HR teams senior-attorney judgment at a cost structure suited to managing outside counsel budgets.
